The Hawks in the Eastern Cape are still trying to get hold of a reported whistle-blower, Phadima Fukula, who had laid criminal charges against the Eastern Cape Premier, Oscar Mabuyane and a judge.
This relates to allegations of corruption during the ANC 2017 elective conference at Nasrec and a further claim that he had delivered R5m to a judge while working as a branch-level activist in East London.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Hawks in the Eastern Cape said they were also trying to get hold of a person who posted a video on social media related to the Fukula matter.
Spokesperson, Captain Yolisa Mgolodela, says the contents of the video clip have a serious bearing on the evidence that is needed in the case.
Fukula has been missing since the 9th of April.
Bhisho has denied the allegations linked to the Premier.
Any person who can identify the man in the video is asked to make contact with the police.
