A Uitenhage man arrested in Grahamstown on a charge of fraud appeared in court last Friday.
This was confirmed by Uitenhage police spokesperson, warrant officer Gerda Swart.
She says no charges were brought against his 22 year old wife.
"Gareth Muller was taken to court on Friday morning. The case was postponed to the 18th of June. He was released on a warning.
The couple disappeared about a month ago and were tracked down to Grahamstown where they were working at a local restaurant.
