Uitenhage police say they've located the third child who was reported missing after a group of children jumped into the Lapland River to escape a swarm of bees.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart, says the child had been admitted to hospital for treatment for bee stings.
She says he has been discharged and is recovering at home.
Meanwhile, Swart says police divers have recovered the bodies of two boys, aged eight and ten, who drowned during the tragic incident on Thursday.
Swart said that a group of young children from Moeggesukkel went out walking on Thursday when they were attacked by a swarm of bees.
She says they jumped into the river to escape and while some made it out, two boys tragically drowned.
Police have opened two inquest dockets in the matter.
