A policeman from Whittelsea who was reported missing last week will face disciplinary action.
Constable Kholisile Mamfengu was reported missing on the First of September and police initially suspected he might have been the victim of a crime.
However, provincial police spokesperson, brigadier Marinda Mills, says he was found unharmed near King Williams Town on Monday.
"We established a task team when the constable was reported missing and the Task team found him on Monday in King Williams Town. He was unharmed and therefore we will institute the necessary disciplinary action against him, because he did not report for duty. He did not notify the employer of his whereabouts and he did not have any leave granted or permission to be absent from duty" she said.
