A body believed to be that of a missing chokka fisherman has been found floating in the ocean at King's Beach, Port Elizabeth.
National Sea Rescue Institute, PE station commander Ian Gray said the body was discovered about 1km out to sea by a team competing in the Hobie-Cat Nationals.
A rescue team retrieved the body and handed it over to police.
NSRI spokesman Craig Lambinon said it was possible that the body was that of a 38-year-old Jeffreys Bay fisherman who had fallen overboard a week earlier.
