A Despatch teenager who was reported missing has been found.
Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 13-year-old boy was discovered by his school's caretaker, lying on the floor in the toilets, on Monday morning.
She says he may have been hiding in the ceiling of the school but further details are not yet available.
Naidu says he was dehydrated and taken to hospital for treatment and therefore they did not have an opportunity to interview him.
The teenager was last seen on Wednesday the 7th of October.
Colonel Naidu says his step-father had taken him to school and when he returned later to fetch him, he was missing.
She said the family first tried to trace him on their own before reporting the matter to the police on Friday.
