The wreckage of the plane that went missing in the Eastern Cape on Wednesday has been found.
Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender says the search was terminated after a chopper from the defense force, who has part of the team, sighted the wreckage in a valley at Harvey's loop at the Addo National Elephant Park.
The necessary authorities were alerted and arrived on the scene shortly after.
The Civil aviation authority will now investigate.
The pilot was formally identified as the 50 year old businessman from Benoni, Cliff Pike
