The family of the pilot , Cliff Pike whose plane went missing on Wednesday has offered a reward of R50 000 to anybody who could lead them to the wreckage
Cliff's wife Colleen also made an emotional plea to ask for any volunteers to join in the search.
Police Spokesperson Captain John Fobian says their extensive search resumed on Saturday morning. He reminded the public that if they were to discover the wreckage to keep in mind that it is a crime scene and that they need to contact the Alexandria police station.
Pike was scheduled to take part in the Mossel Bay airshow this weekend but his plane disappeared in bad weather on Wednesday.
