The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Richard Baloyi, will be in Nelson Mandela Bay on Wednesday.
Its understood that his visit has to do with recent developments announced by Local Government MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane.
Last week the MEC announced a detailed turn-around plan for Nelson Mandela Bay.
Part of the plan entailed sending a support team to the metro to assist with the development of the turn-around strategy.
Qoboshiyane said the intervention was in terms of Section 154 of the Constitution following a request for support from executive mayor, Zanoxolo Wayile.
