Western Cape Social Development Minister, Albert Fritz, led a group of football playing youths to the Eastern Cape this week to participate in a football tournament in Port Elizabeth.
The tournament was played this week at the Gelvandale sports grounds.
Frtiz says most of the Cape Town youngsters who played in the tournament are part of the Two Oceans Youth Academy.
He says the academy is not just about sport, but providing youth with an alternative to gangsterism and drugs.
