The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says it will assist in the funeral arrangements of three Helenvale children who died in a shack fire this week.
Nelson Mandela Bay Acting Executive Mayor, Councillor Andile Mfunda, visited the scene on Thursday.
A young boy and his twin brothers died in a fire believed to have been started by a stove that was left on.
Their mother, Angelette Gallant, had left them to sleep while she went to the shop.
Mfunda called on parents to be vigilant over their children during the festive season.
