Nelson Mandela Bay will receive R434.8 million as its share of the general fuel levy revenue for the 2013/14 financial year, slightly less than its allocation last year.
The allocations have been published in the Government Gazette by Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan.
The allocations benefit the larger metros with Johannesburg receiving R2.2 billion and Cape Town R1.9 billion, about R73 million more than Durban.
Buffalo City will receive R343.4 million.
The share of the fuel levy replaced the Regional Services Council Levy.
