East London police have arrested seven people in the Reeston community, suspected of a mob killing.
Police said the bones of two men, who are believed to have been murdered, were discovered after they were reported as missing.
They had allegedly been suspected of several house-breakings in Scenery Park.
Police said the East London flying squad and the investigating officer from Scenery Park followed up on information and arrested the suspects on Saturday.
They further discovered that the two men who were kidnapped were also murdered and thrown in the deep cliff of the Nqguthu mountain.
The men between the ages of 35 and 45 were initially charged with kidnapping but now a double murder charge will be added.
They will appear in court on Tuesday.
