East London and Mthatha police divers have retrieved the body of a 21-year-old man from the Tsitsa River at Tsolo.
The young man, whose hands were tied behind his back and a bag loaded with rocks tied to his body, is believed to have been murdered in a mob killing.
Police received information on Monday about an alleged mob attack which took place on the 22nd of April, where two men were murdered, before their bodies were dumped into the river.
Police spokesperson, Captain Dineo Koena, says that the search for the body of the second victim of the mob killing will continue on Tuesday.
No arrests have yet been made.
