A memorial service will be held on Wednesday for slain Port Elizabeth police constable, Thandiswa Bambiso.
She was killed when gunmen opened fire on her patrol vehicle in Veeplaas last week.
Her colleague, constable Nathaniel Mqina, was seriously wounded, when an unknown number of gunmen opened fire on their vehicle.
In spite of wearing bullet proof vests, constable Bambiso was fatally wounded, while constable Mqina was shot twice but still managed to drive to Kwazakhele police station for help.
Police management said constable Bambiso's memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at the Lilian Ngoyi Sports Centre and she will be laid to rest on Saturday.
