The Oyster Bay community will be holding a memorial service for five-year-old, Anelisiwe Sauls, who was raped and murdered late last month.
The little girl disappeared on Friday the 27th of April, and her body was found the following day.
Kouga ward councillor Zolani Mayoni says the the memorial service will be held at the Oyster Bay Community Hall at noon on Tuesday for the Grade-R, Zandwater pre-school learner.
Police said three youths were taken in for questioning but have been released because of a lack of evidence.
However, police spokesperson, lieutenant-colonel Priscilla Naidu, says DNA and other samples taken from people on the farm in the Oyster Bay area have been sent to Cape Town for testing.
Meanwhile, Eastern Cape Safety MEC, Helen Sauls-August, has welcomed the breakthrough into the murder of Rhodes University student, Lelone Fufu.
The 23-year-old student was robbed and stabbed while hitch-hiking to her graduation ceremony three weeks ago.
According to reports a suspect in custody on an unrelated case has been linked to her death.
In a statement on Monday, MEC Sauls-August, applauded the police for the breakthrough, saying their dedication will make communities safer.
