The newly established education lobby group, Save Our Schools, will be meeting regional education director, Nyathi Ntsiko, today.
SOS was established nearly two weeks ago to address education issues affecting schools in Port Elizabeth's northern areas, particularly the shortage of teachers at some schools.
The spokesperson for the SOS, DA MP, Donald Lee, says several key issues are on the agenda for Monday's meeting.
"Items on the agenda are temporary teachers , filling of vacant posts and the advertising of vacant posts and the reasons for the need for teachers in certain areas, and the other important point is the supply of school books" Lee said
