Eastern Cape Rural Development and Agrarian Reform MEC, Zoleka Capa, will visit farms in the Bedford district of the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.
The farms have benifitted from the Department's livestock improvement and land care programmes which saw 190 jobs being created in Bedford.
The Department says it intervened after officials noticed that farmers were overgrazing the veld and there was no control of livestock movement.
An amount of R1.4 million will also be spent fencing a total of 35 kilometres of land to ensure better veld management and land care in camps that will cater for 326 livestock owners.
MEC Capa will also hand over industrial sewing machines as part of the Department's broad rural development initiative.
