A wreath ceremony will take place at Hoërskool Ben Viljoen in Groblersdal in Limpopo on Tuesday following the death of three of their matric learners on Friday.
JG Greyling, Stiaan Grobler and Conrad Meiring, all 18, had just finished their matric exams and were in the Garden Route on holiday when they were killed in a car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said four kids were driving in a Lexus when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and left the road near the Maalgate bridge on the N2.
All the teenagers were flung out of the vehicle but only one survived.
Pojie said he was able to call for help and contacted the George police.
He said the person was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and has since been discharged.
The school posted on their official Facebook page on Monday stating that a silence descended on the school and the local community after hearing the news.
The teenagers were described as well mannered, adventurous and respectful young men.
