East London police have arrested a 36-year-old man for being in possession of dagga worth an estimated R700 000.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku, says the suspect had been under surveillance for some time.
He says the suspect will appear in court soon.
Meawhile, five men have been arrested outside Mthatha following a robbery at a shop.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela, says the men fled on horses following Tuesday's robbery.
He says during the arrests police also seized over a kilogram of dagga, mandrax tablets and two fire-arms.
