ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe will launch a family foundation in his birth village in Cala on Saturday,
He said that establishment of the Foundation has been in the pipeline for some time and was now becoming a reality.
He said it was fit and proper to launch the Gwede Mantashe Family Foundation in Cala in order to reconnect with the community that had raised and invested a lot in him.
Foundation spokesperson, Buda Tstotetsi, says the Foundation will focus on education and agricultural programmes in the Cala area.
