Eastern Cape police are hunting for the gunmen who killed two men who worked at a ‘stop and go’ at a road construction project near Willowvale.
Spokesperson, Captain Sipokazi Mawisa, said the bodies of the men, aged 24 and 28, were discovered on Wednesday morning by a co-worker.
She said the victims, who had been on night duty at the traffic hut, had bullet wounds to the head, face, and knees.
Police found seven empty cartridges and two projectiles where the bodies were found on the road next to Nkelenkethe Location.
Mawisa said the motive for the murders is not yet known and anyone who may have information that could assist the case should contact Willowvale police.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released.
