Eastern Cape police have launched a manhunt for a group of armed suspects following a house robbery at a Bed and Breakfast facility on a farm near Addo on Friday evening.
Spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli says it is alleged that five guests were sitting in the braai area at around 21:00 when one of them noticed a group of about five suspects wearing balaclavas who were crawling on the ground towards them and he raised the alarm.
He says one of the suspects fired shots and one of the guests was wounded in the upper body.
Nkohli says a second guest sustained a minor injury when one of the bullets grazed his thigh.
He says the suspects fled the scene on foot after taking a laptop computer, a wallet, a handbag and a cellphone.
Cases of attempted murder and house robbery are under investigation.
Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects is urged to contact the police.
