Southern Cape police have appealed to the public to assist them in tracing Joseph Motlomelo and Lionel Kennedy, who could assist them in the investigation into a house robbery in Great Brak River on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Captain. Malcolm Pojie, says a manhunt is underway for the two suspects who are believed to be linked to the brutal attack on a 56-year-old woman in her home.
He says one of two men who surprised the woman in her home, cut her throat when she refused to show him where the safe is.
Pojie says the men eventually fled with between R90 000- R100 000 rand in cash.
Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Motlomelo and Kennedy should contact their nearest police station.
