Eastern Cape police say mandrax with an estimated street value of R600,000 was found on a bus travelling on the N2 late on Friday.
Spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender says three officers from Grahamstown were on patrol, and at around 5pm, pulled over and searched the bus, which was travelling from East London to Port Elizabeth.
She says they found a bag in the trailer with Mandrax tablets packed among clothing.
Govender says no arrests have yet been made, and police are investigating.
