An Eastern Cape man accused of raping a seven-year-old girl has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, said 30-year-old Sive Bakubaku, was sentenced in the Tsomo Regional Court on Tuesday morning.
The court heard that he had lured the child to his home in October 2016 while she was playing with friends. Her mother was at church at the time.
