Man killed outside PE night club

The provincial gang investigation unit is probing a case of murder after a 27-year-old Port Elizabeth man was shot and killed outside a nightclub in Stanford Road on Sunday morning.

Police say it is alleged that Sergio Adam and his girlfriend left the La Dee Da's club at around 4 am, and while talking in the car park, an unknown person approached and pushed the girlfriend aside.

Several shots were fired at Adam, and he died at the scene.

The motive for the killing is not yet known.
