Man killed in hit-and-run on the N2 along Garden Route

Great Brak River Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a man on the N2 near Powertown during the night.

Pedestrians came across the body of the deceased, lying on the middleman on the N2. Although the exact time of death could not yet be determined, police suspect that the man was killed in the early hours of this morning.

The man lived in Powertown and will only be named once his next of kin have been informed.

Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
