Gqeberha police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man was killed in an accident between two vehicles on the R75 early on Sunday morning.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says it is alleged that a Honda Ballade with three occupants suffered a mechanical failure at around 01:30, and one of them was busy pushing the vehicle to the side of the road.
She says the female driver of a Tata Indica alleged that she did not see the Honda and collided with it.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says the man that was pushing the vehicle was hit and he was declared dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
