Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of culpable homicide, following a fatal accident between two vehicles on the N2 in Sidwell on Sunday.
Spokesperson, Capt Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says on arrival at the scene, they found the body of the male driver of a Mercedes Benz.
She says the driver of the other vehicle, a VW Touran was injured and admitted to hospital.
Janse van Rensburg says it is alleged that the Mercedes was stationary in the yellow line when the Touran collided with its rear.
She said the name of the deceased would be released once his next of kin had identified him.
