Police in Gqeberha are on the hunt for two men who were allegedly involved in a murder and attempted murder in Walmer Township on Thursday morning.
Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says two men, both aged 30, arrived home just before 2 am at Phela Khulu Street when they were approached by the suspects who demanded phones and cash.
She says the suspects attacked both victims with a knife.
One victim sustained a fatal stab wound to the upper body and passed away on the scene, while the second victim also sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects fled with a cellphone and cash.
