Police have identified the man who was shot and killed at Willow Dam in Uitenhage on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart identified him as the 24-year-old Keanan Magnie.
She says the deceased was hanging out with friends when two gunmen approached who fired several shots.
Magnie was shot several times in his upper body and died on the scene.
Swart says the gunmen fled the scene on foot and the motive is not yet known.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information pertinent to the shooting to contact Uitenhage police.
