A 39 year-old man will appear in the Uitenhage Magistrate's court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.
Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says a 22 year-old man arrived at his home in Tarentaal Street, Despatch, late on Sunday afternoon with a stab wound to the chest.
He was taken to the Uitenhage provincial hospital where he passed away in the evening. The deceased has been identified as Adriaan Minus
Swart says Despatch detectives followed up on several leads and arrested a 39-year-old suspect just before 11 o'clock on Monday morning.
The man is being held in custody ahead of his court appearance.
