Man drowns in EC farm dam

Eastern Cape police have opened an inquest docket after a man drowned in a farm dam at Shawpark.

His body was recovered on Saturday.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender, said that the owner of the farm reported the incident.

“The body of a 32 year old male who was employed on the farm was retrieved,” she said.

Govender said that his name will be released once a formal identification has been made.
