Man dies in accident on Oliphants Kop pass

One person has been killed in an accident involving three trucks on the Oliphants Kop pass on the N-10 between Paterson and Cookhouse.

Provincial traffic department spokesperson Tshepo Machaea says a truck overturned in the pass early on Tuesday morning.

He says two other heavy duty vehicles then slammed into the wreckage of the first truck.

The Oliphants Kop pass was re-opened to traffic.
