Man dies after wall collapses in Humewood

One person has died and one was injured a short while ago after a trench-wall collapsed at Hobie Beach in Port Elizabeth.

Our correspondent said from the scene that the name of the deceased was not yet known.

Police said they might need the use of a crane to lift the wall and remove the body of the deceased.

The men were busy digging a trench when the wall collapsed.
