Mossel Bay police have opened an inquest docket into Sunday's shooting incident which has the town talking.
Police said a 63-year old man shot himself in his car which had been parked in front of a local restaurant in Marsh Street.
According to police, the man from Namibia was with his wife and child on Sunday night when the incident happened.
However, they were not in the car at the time of the shooting.
Police said they have since returned to Namibia.
In two separate incidents a 45 year old man from Reebok died after taking an overdose of pills while a 28 year old man from Green Haven hung himself in his house.
Both incidents are being investigated by the Great Brak River Detective Services.
