Port Elizabeth police are investigating three cases of attempted murder, after two suspects went on a gang related shooting spree in Helenvale on Monday afternoon.
Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the men fired shots at a group of people Deverell road.
He says a 20-year old woman ran for cover and shots were fired through three windows of her home.
In the same incident, a 6-year old boy was caught in crossfire and was shot in the leg while playing in the street.
Labans says a 52-year old man sustained a gun shot wound to the shoulder when a stray bullet went through his kitchen window.
Police have since arrested a 24-year old and he is expected to appear in court soon.
The other suspect is still at large.
