Algoa Park detectives in Gqeberha have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in a murder and attempted murder that took place on Sunday afternoon in Missionvale.
Colonel Priscilla Naidu says 30-year-old Lee-Roy Erasmus was with his friend in Phoenix Street when two suspects started firing shots at them.
A 22-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his thigh and Erasmus fled to his house in Record street but was followed by two armed men.
Colonel Naidu says when the suspects entered his house, Erasmus jumped through a window and fell through the roof of a shack behind his house.
She says the suspects shot him multiple times and he died on the scene.
