A 60-year-old man from Humansdorp was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning for allegedly dealing in drugs.
Spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says police tracked him down in Pendoring Street just before 2 am in the morning following an intelligence-driven operation.
She says the suspect had an unlicensed firearm, two magazines and several rounds of ammunition in his possession, including drugs and cash.
Police confiscated 36 tik staws, a few grams of dagga and 108 Mandrax tablets with a street value of R6 480.
Swart says he also had nearly R6 000 in cash.
He is expected to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrates court on Thursday.
The Humansdorp Cluster Commander, Brigadier John Lebok says they will continue their random stop-and-search operations to clamp down on drug outlets in town.
