Man arrested for speeding on N2

A 35-year old motorist has been arrested on the N2 near Palmietsvlei on the way to Humansdorp for excessive speeding.
Police say the driver of the Golf GTI was caught driving at 207 kilometres an hour.
He apparently said he was cruising along so nicely that he did not realise what speed he was doing.
The man will spend the weekend in custody and appear in court on Monday.
