East London police are investigating a case of murder after a man was found dead over the weekend.
Captain Stephen Marais says a suspect was handed over to the police by the mother of the deceased.
The 23 year old suspect is believed to have been involved in an argument with the deceased who was found with several wounds to his upper body.
Police are in possession of the alleged murder weapon.
The suspect will appear in the East London Magistrates' Court soon on a charge of murder.
