Two killed in PE shack fire

Two people were killed after their shack caught fire in the Barcelona informal settlement in Gelvandale, Port Elizabeth on Saturday night.

Police Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says neighbours noticed the fire shortly before 11pm and alerted the authorities.

The victims were a 39 year old man and a 44 year old woman.

Police have opened an inquest docket
