East London police have arrested a 43 year old man after a large quantity of drugs were found in his house in Vergenoeg in Buffalo Flats.
Members of the city's crime intelligence unit as well as the tactical reponse team, were armed with a search warrant when they searched the house last night.
Police spokesperson, captain Stephen Marais, says police found a variety of drugs hidden in different places around the house.
He says the suspect is being held at Buffalo Flats police station and will appear in court soon on a charge of dealing in drugs.
