Major development in Jayde Panayiotou murder investigation

Port Elizabeth police have made a major breakthrough in the murder investigation of Riebeeck College teacher Jayde Panayioutou.

Provincial Spokesperson Brigadier Marinda Mills confirmed the latest development to Algoa FM news on Tuesday. 

Twenty Eight year old Panayioutou was abducted from outside her house in Kabega Park last Tuesday before money was withdrawn form her account in Kwanobuhle near Uitenhage a few hours later.

A massive search got underway and her body was found the following day in bushes near Kwanobuhle.

Police will issue a full statement in due course.
