Lucky escape for schoolchildren in Garden Route accident

Seventeen people, including 15 school children, had a lucky escape following a three car pile up on the N-2 outside George on Thursday morning.
ER-24 reports that's one school girl, despite being hit by another car after being ejected from the back of a bakkie, suffered only moderate serious injuries.
Spokesperson, Vanessa Jackson, says the girl was one of two people out the total number of patients on the scene, who were the most seriously injured.
She says the drama unfolded when a bakkie collided into the back of another bakkie carrying school children.
Paramedics arrived to find the children were strewn across the road. Two pedestrians had also been knocked down in the collision. All the patients were treated on scene for their injuries, two of them were serioulsy injured
