Gqeberha police have arrested a 21-year-old gang affiliate shortly after shots were fired at a 20-year-old Shauderville woman.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said the woman was walking in Couldridge Street on Sunday afternoon when she saw three men with firearms standing in front of her house.
She said they started shooting at the woman as she fled.
Naidu said she did not sustain any injuries but one suspect was arrested with the help of the local community.
She said he will appear in court on Tuesday on a charge of attempted murder.
