A number of Loggerhead sea turtle hatchling have been washing up along beaches at Jeffrey's Bay following high seas caused by the weekend Spring Tide.
Loggerhead sea turtles are classified as endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
SANCCOB volunteer, Trumie Viljoen, says they're caring for 11 hatchlings that have washed up on shore between Albertos and Kabeljou.
Viljoen says the tiny turtles weighing between 30 and 100 grams are vulnerable and need to be taken to Bayworld in Port Elizabeth for treatment.
She says SANCOBB is appealing to the public to call 082 8 900 207 if a turtle is found along the beaches.
"They can reach between 46 years and 76 years old. Their average weight seems to be in the region of 130 kg to 200 kg and they can reach a weight of 500 kg. So these are extremely small and vulnerable, people finding these turtles should bring them into SANCCOB." says Viljoen.
