A number of arrests were made during operation Fiela in Korsten in Port Elizabeth's northern areas on Thursday.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Sibongile Soci says a 40 year-old man was arrested for possession of dagga and dagga with an estimated street value of 1500 rand.
Also confiscated were 51 9mm rounds and 3 9mm magazines.
One hundred and forty vehicles and 375 people were stopped and searched.
Soci says Customs also had four successes and counterfeit goods were confiscated with a total of 27 shops inspected.
Provincial and Metro Traffic impounded 18 vehicles for traffic offences and 19 warrants to the value of R42 400 rand were executed.
Seventy six people were arrested for being in the country illegally.
