Police at Ngqamakhwe in the Eastern Cape have arrested a woman and four men for being in possession of dagga worth an estimated half a million rand.
Police Captain Jackson Manatha, says the suspects, aged between 28 and 49, were arrested at Mbeveni Location at Ngqamakhwe this week.
He says police also recovered 24 suspected stolen sheep, an undisclosed amount of money, television sets and 100 mandrax tablets with a street value of R95 000.
Manatha says all the suspects have been charged with dealing in dagga, stock theft, possession of suspected stolen property and dealing in drugs.
They will appear in the Ngqamakhwe Magistrate's Court on Friday.
